Due to the drought an...It is sizzling hot here too. Due to the drought and we were travelling the corn got dried up just as the tassle and the females in mating time. Opposite of yours the heat damaged the corns. Maybe you can try a smaller variety? We tried baby blue Jade Corn which is the size of babycorn. I am also hoping for a tiny butternut underneath the corns.
